Privacy notice

Last updated: 2026-10-27

This page is the early-access signup for an upcoming iPhone fitness RPG. This notice explains, in plain terms, what happens to the email address you give us.

What we collect

Only what the signup needs:

We do not ask for your name, and we don’t collect health or fitness data on this website. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

Why we use it

To run the early-access list: to confirm your address, let you know about progress and early-access or TestFlight opportunities, and nothing else. Reserving an Uplink joins the early-access list; it does not guarantee a TestFlight invitation.

Double opt-in

After you sign up, we send one confirmation email. Your address is only added to the active list once you click the confirmation link. If you never confirm, we don’t email you again, unless you sign up again with the same address: then we re-send the same confirmation email, at most once every 10 minutes. If you’ve already confirmed, signing up again sends nothing. If you’ve unsubscribed, signing up again sends a new confirmation email (with the same 10-minute limit), and you’re only back on the list once you click it. Signing up again never changes when you first joined or how you found us.

Unsubscribe

Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and supports one-click unsubscribe in mail apps that offer it. Unsubscribing takes you off the list and stops all future emails. We keep a record that you unsubscribed, and unsubscribing also retires the links in every email we’ve already sent you, so an old confirmation link can’t quietly put you back on the list. To rejoin, sign up again and confirm the new email we send you.

Where your data lives

The list is stored in a dedicated early-access database table, isolated from any game-account data. We use these services to run it:

Analytics

If analytics is enabled, we use a privacy-first, cookieless setup (PostHog) that records only three anonymous events: a page view, a signup being started, and a signup being confirmed. Autocapture and session recording are off, and we never send your email address to PostHog. When you sign up, the anonymous ID of your visit is stored with your signup so we can later connect it to your game account if you create one with the same email. It respects your browser’s Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control signal (with either set, no analytics loads and no ID is stored) and does not build an advertising profile of you.
